Belize

In 1990, Belize enacted the International Business Companies Act based on the British Virgin Islands model. Since then, Belize has become a typical, straightforward and cost-efficient offshore tax haven. Among the "younger generation" of the jurisdictions offering tax benefits to international business.

Belize's IBC legislation is viewed internationally as one of the most modern and user-friendly. Belize operates a modern International Business Companies Act, Trusts Act, Mutual Funds Act and Offshore Banking Act with probably the fastest IBC registry in the world. Belize has English as the official language and Belize dollar (BZD) being the legal tender.
